I’m always looking for different things to do with the fam besides the main stream amusement parks, over the top water parks, and Chucky E. Cheese, Don’t get me wrong, I love the mainstream stuff but I like to adventure out and spend a little less.
I grew up in Colorado and fishin’ was a regular event for my family. Although we would catch the fish and eat them that night for dinner for some reason I never acquired a taste for fish. Anyways, I found this hidden treasure in Agoura Hills called Troutdale. They have 2 ponds packed with trout. They say if you don’t catch a trout within the time you’re there, you must be a bad fisherman.
Here’s how it works…
You pay $7 per person fishing or not.
You get a bamboo pole, bucket of water (for the caught fish), cup of corn (bait), and license.
You can also rent poles for $5 or bring your own.
Oh and you can buy other bait as well.
You find your spot, post up for a bit, and wait for the fish to bite.
Its that easy!
Its a great little place to picnic or and have a birthday party.
Hope you get a chance to explore it with the little’s.
I use to go there all the time when I was a kid. That’s where I caught my first fish!
It’s a great place!!!! NCC?
